We just launched the next preview of Fast Society!  Its about 10.32 times more awesome than the last version - even easier and entirely mobile-based. Getting started is easy: set up a team of your friends, pick how long you want it to run, and click launch.  Everyone will get invites via text message, and once they’re in, you can text your entire team at once. Need to hear everyone’s voice? Just click the Conference Call button (or text the word Call) and you’ll be linked up in an instant phone call with your team.

To try it out, visit fastsociety.com on your mobile phone right now. We have native apps coming to all the platforms, but it works via the mobile web too (got an iPhone? Click the “+” in Safari to add it as a web app to your homescreen).

Things are off to a great start for 2010, and we’ve got a bunch of really awesome projects lined up. We’re always looking to work and hang with creative, talented and driven people, especially when we can pay them good money. Luckily, we’re hiring!

At this point we’re looking for two awesome people:

A talented and crafty PHP developer who dreams in MySQL queries. We’re pushing the envelope with some of our new concepts, so the ideal candidate has the technical prowess to craft solid, scalable and elegant web architectures, but also has the creativity to design with an eye for elegant user experience. Experience working on high-traffic applications in both the online and mobile space is key, but we’d also love to see projects you’ve built for fun on the side.

An uber-creative UI/UX designer that can take their ideas from static comps to interactive, dynamic web sites. The ideal candidate has an eye for beautiful, compelling design, along with the expertise and confidence to make their ideas come alive with HTML/CSS/AJAX. Expertise redesigning corporate web presences is a plus, but we’d also love to see a good balance of personal projects and things you’ve made for fun. Not only do we work with awesome, big name clients helping to create innovative and compelling web experiences, but we also spend a good amount of time building our own in house products.

For both postitions, we’re looking for someone who is excited by the idea of joining a young, tight-knit team looking to push the boundaries of online and mobile interactions. We’re looking to hire for full-time positions, but freelance opportunities may also be available.

If either of these jobs sound like a good fit for you (or someone you know!), get in touch with us at work@onebluebrick.com. We can’t wait to meet you.
